Pain!!!
So friday night I noticed that my left cheek was starting to swell a little, didn't think too much of it at first, just thought I got bit by something. Saturday it was pretty big but I still thought it was just a spider bite or something. Sunday I woke up to my whole left side of my face swollen red and painful so I went to urgent care, found out I had cellulitis, given an antibiotic and told to check in with my doctor this week. Well I went in today and I had to have it drained. Let me tell you, that hurt!!! Turns out I had a cyst that ruptured and caused an infection. So now I have my cheek packed with gauze and a big bandage on it and on a different antibiotic that is suppose to work if it is MRSA. I go back tomorrow so the doctor can check it and repack it. I am in so much pain right now it is ridiculous!!!!

Scout camp
So last week Clayton and Michael went to scout camp (Michael's first time). They had a really good time and Michael has found a new hobby- fishing, he loves it, and was the only scout in the troop to catch a fish. He also almost won King Pee wee. He lost to a 10 year old whose troop got special permission for him to be there. Our troop was furious that the 10 year old won and we all have decided that Michael is the real winner since he is actually 12! He got several merit badges and is very excited to be in scouts. He also was made a deacon on Sunday at church so I now have to sons with the priesthood.
Clayton also had a great time at scouts. He took rock climbing and climbed a 50ft climbing tower!!!! I am so glad I wasn't there watching! The other scouts were amazed that he was able to climb it due to his small size, but he proved he is small but powerful!
Here are some pictures for you to enjoy!

Graduations all around
It has been a busy week!!! Colin had his preschool graduation on Wednesday night and Michael had his 6th grade graduation today.
We are so proud of Michael and the progress he has made since we moved here and we have his wonderful speech teacher, Anna Mauch and awesome resource teacher David Boyce to thank for it. They are truly amazing teachers. I fully believe we came to Nebraska so Michael could have these teachers in his life.

Finally!!!!!
After 9 months of Bob being unemployed and living off of just my paycheck, Bob got a job!!!! He will be a producer at the ABC station here in Omaha. We aren't quite sure which show he will be doing yet but at least he has a job. He starts tomorrow. We are very thankful for the job and know that Heavenly Father was watching out for us. It just proves more than ever how powerful faith can be. Thank you to all of you who kept us in your thoughts and prayers!!!

Band Concerts
Okay, last post for the day. We have had a couple of band concerts the past month. Dawn had one Feb. 24 and then Dawn and Michael had one last night.
Dawn on Feb 24:

Dawn and Michael last night:

And a video. You can't actually see Dawn or Michael but they are both playing as it was a combined song with the 6th grade and 8th grade band. I was too far away and my digital camera won't focus in while on video mode.

Dawn's basket ball game
Dawn was on her Middle school's reserve basketball team this year. She did pretty well and by the end of the season she became a great defensive player. She is able to get in there and steal the ball from just about anyone!

Sick kids!!!!!!
Well, I have sick kids!!! First Colin ran a high fever last week with a runny nose and cough and sore throat. He seemed to be getting better, no fever after Sunday night. Then Tuesday Clayton started running a fever and Dawn came home from school not feeling well. Off to the doctor yesterday with both Dawn and Clayton running 103 fevers(and Colin too since he still had a yucky nose). Well, Dawn and Clayton have strep throat and Colin has a staph infection in his nose. So I have to remember to give 3 kids antibiotics! Colin has to take his for 2 weeks.
