Decorating the Christmas tree

We got our Christmas tree up this week! The kids love putting it up as much as I did when I was a kid. It brings back memories of my sister and I decorating the tree with my mom.

Silly Boy

So, Colin and I were sitting on my bed watching tv and he saw some fuzz from Bob's wonderful Mexican blanket and he totally freaked out. Colin screamed and jumped up on me and yelled " fuzzy bee, get it away from me!!!!" So our almost 3 year old is afraid of fuzz! I have heard of kids being afraid of the vacuum cleaner, or Santa, but not of fuzz! Just goes to show how unique every child is!

Parker's tribute to veterans

The first and second graders had a concert tonight and it was a Tribute to Veterans. They sang patriotic songs. I could hear Parker singing over all the other kids. He was sooo excited for the concert tonight. I will gladly admit that when they sang "Proud to be an American" I got teary eyed.

Poor Dawn

Well, Poor Dawn has been home with Strep throat. She is better now and is going back to school but the poor girl gets it every year if not twice a year. We may be looking into getting her tonsils out. I just hope no one else in the house gets it.

Halloween

Well the kids had a great time trick or treating!!!! They got a lot of candy. Colin really got into it this year and asked after every house "I go more trick or treating?"
